Assurance of measurement representativity: Development of filter functions for elimination of local influences
The project of developing mathematical
filter functions for elimination of local influences and also
stratospherical influences and influences of long range
transports in order to assure spatial representativity of
measurements at the GAW-Global station Zugspitze has successfully
been finished by Dr. Ilka Kürbis at University of Bochum,
Germany, North Rhine Westfalia.
The experiences have shown that this
technique produces usable results of higher spatial
representativity.
